Q. – Do you have Life Groups?
A. – Absolutely!!!
Life Groups are the best way for people to get connected at LIFEWAY. We are more than a church that meets on weekends. We also are a network of small groups that meet throughout the city at different times and locations through the week. Life Groups are one way that we provide opportunities to build meaningful and lasting relationships with one another. Our Life Groups run in three terms -spring, summer, and fall. They meet at different times and locations around the city. You can explore Life Groups by picking up the current Life Group Directory at the Welcome Center. We currently offer two different type of Life Groups:
1. GROWTH GROUPS – Where you can learn
In Growth Groups, we teach the Bible and life principles on a deeper level. We encourage people to join these groups for their personal spiritual growth. Some of our topics for our classes are Righteousness, Healing, and Bible Covenants. We also have groups that teach spiritual principles that people can practically apply to their home life – including groups on marriage, parenting, and economics.
2. INTEREST GROUPS – Where you can relate
These are groups that get together based on a common interest, such as, sports, hobbies, etc. We value the importance of having friends that share the same faith as well as to provide a non-threatening environment for people who are searching for life found in God.
God never intended for us to live life alone. A Life Group is a place to serve, learn, have fun, but most importantly get to know people with whom you can learn to serve a real God for real life. Life isn’t just a contact sport, it’s a team sport. God knows that we all need others to encourage and strengthen us, so He wants to surround us with others who are also striving to live the life that He intended.
Life Groups are the best way to get to know people at LifeWay C.C. Whatever your age or interest; we hope to have a group that’s just right for you. Call the church office for current locations and meeting times.
Q. – Do you offer a nursery during service times for our babies?
A. – Yes, we offer a nursery & preschool Ministry (Birth to 2 yrs)
We provide an environment dedicated to your little ones. LifeWay provides a safe, nurturing climate for your child. We use a state-of-the-art registration system that gives parents a worry-free experience. All classes are monitored and adequately staffed with the proper teacher/child ratio. Your child will be delighted with age appropriate activities and lessons where they’ll learn about God from gifted teachers that can articulate the gospel at their level.
At L.W.C.C., your child will learn about God’s love through worship and creative activities, learning these three truths: (1) God made me; (2) God loves me; and (3) Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Q. – Do you offer a teaching environment for our pre-school children?
A. – Yes, it is called LifeWay Chapel (3 – 4 year olds)
We believe in introducing praise and worship to our little ones. This time is filled with music, puppets, games and activities that your three, four, and five year olds will enjoy while teaching them what it means to worship the Lord. This is a fun and meaningful time for the children, one they will come home talking about. We want to help your child discover that Jesus is a friend forever.
Q. – Do you offer children’s services during Sunday morning worship?
A. – Yes, LifeWay Children’s Ministry is K – 5th grades
Services start at 10:30 am.We are partnering with parents to lead children into a growing relationship with God. We welcome your kids to an exciting time filled with incredible praise and worship, amazing character performances, and an exciting journey through the Good Book as we bring the Bible to life before their very eyes! Our talented staff and volunteers use an endless number of creative and innovative teaching methods that are relevant to the ever-changing culture of a child. Your child has their own seat in each service, but we guarantee they’ll only need the edge!
Q. – Are there opportunities to volunteer at LifeWay C.C.?
A. – Yes there are.
Serving at one of our services is an expression of Worship. We have outlined some immediate needs below. To volunteer, you may either fill out a LifeWay Connection Card during a Sunday morning service or just call the office.

Q. – Does LifeWay offer services for our Middle & High School Children?
A. – Yes, AMP’d Youth Ministries meets on Sunday Evenings at 6 PM
AMP’d Youth helps bridge the gap between not understanding God and having a relationship with Him. It’s kind of like eating Pringles Potato Chips, once you pop, you can’t stop. Starting to attend church regularly creates an unquenchable hunger to discover more about this Creator of the Universe and the personal plan He has for our lives. Getting involved with other great youth in dynamic services, inviting others to join in the experience, going to youth camps and youth conferences and living the life is just the start of why we exist. AMP’d exposes God for what He is, an everlasting and ever-increasing faithful God in our lives who desires personal relationships. But it is up us to respond to this great relationship, and as we reach out to Him, He embraces us, for the journey of a lifetime!
