Since our beginning in February of 2008, God has continually blessed our congregation which started as a church plant and has evolved into a strong regional presence. Every week several families drive up to 40 miles one way to worship on Sunday mornings. At LifeWay our passion has always been to CONNECT with God, each Other, and reach our World for Christ.
Gratitude means thankfulness, counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and acknowledging everything that you receive. It means learning to live your life as if everything were a gift from God, and being aware on a continuous basis of how much you’ve been given. Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that is already present. In addition, research has shown the surprising life improvements that can stem from the practice of gratitude. Giving thanks makes people happier and more resilient, it strengthens relationships, it improves health, attracts success, and it reduces stress.

At LifeWay Community Church, we believe doing life together is pretty important. That is why we have LifeGroups. Our LifeGroups are the “life line” of our church. We encourage every person to plug into our groups and start GROWING and getting STRONGER in life. These groups run for 10-12 weeks on a semester schedule that mirrors the school calendar so they are family friendly. Growth happens best when there is an intense period of learning, followed by a short time of rest. They start the week of September 8th so pickup information in the lobby at guest services.
God wants us to be constantly growing, rising to new levels, and reaching higher heights in this life. He wants us to flourish and excel at whatever we set our hand to. But many stay right where they are, day in and day out, settling for less than God’s best simply because they’ve grown accustom to their circumstances. In short, they’ve become comfortable. However, to tap into all that God has for us, we can’t just stay where we are; we have to stretch and step out of our comfort zones.
