What is a Life Group?

Life Groups are smaller clusters of people who are pursuing spiritual growth together in 3 major areas:

• Knowing God – Growing in their personal relationship with God
• Knowing Each Other –  Developing and deepening friendships with each other
• Serving the World – Reaching out to others beyond the group

Who are Life Groups for?

Whether you’re brand-new to LifeWay or you’ve been coming for years, a Life Group is a great next step for anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with God and others through relationships.

What is a typical Life Group like?

Each Life Group is unique, but generally all groups have some social time with snacks and conversation up front, followed by a time of study and prayer. Our groups have varying times and durations but are typically between 1-2 hours. Typically, different groups meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays at 6:30pm or Saturdays at 8am & 9am.

How often will we meet?

Life Groups meet on a weekly basis. Be sure to talk with your group leader for updates as each group can have varying special events or serve opportunities!

How many weeks do groups meet?

All groups are anywhere from 5-10 weeks in length. After that, you’ll meet socially with your group members and decide what’s next for your group. You can transition out of a group if it’s not the best fit for you, if your circumstances change, or if you would like to try something new!

Is this a right place for me?

Groups are a great place to grow spiritually through relationships, but if you’re new to our church or investigating the Christian faith, our groups are a safe starting point where you can meet friends, ask questions and explore your faith.
