Today’s Scripture Focus
Zechariah 4:6–7 “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord… ‘Who are you, O great mountain? … you shall become a plain!’”
Today’s Thought:
God is releasing GREAT GRACE even during times of Dis-GRACE.
Acts 4:33 “…with great power… GREAT GRACE was upon them all.”
Grace for Every Area
- Grace for your past
- Grace for your prodigals
- Grace for your promises
There is grace… And then there is GREAT GRACE.
Not just enough grace to get by, but more than enough to overcome.
In Acts 4, the early church was facing:
- persecution
- pressure
- opposition
Yet Scripture says: Great grace was upon them all
WHAT IS GREAT GRACE?
Grace is: God’s divine ability working in you and through you.
Great Grace is: an overflow of God’s power, favor, and strength beyond your natural ability.
GRACE IN THE MIDST OF PRESSURE
The early believers were not in comfort, they were in conflict.
Acts 4:29 “…grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word…”
Key Insight:
They didn’t pray for the pressure to stop, they prayed for grace to stand strong.
GRACE PRODUCES BOLDNESS:
Acts 4:31 “…they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
Grace doesn’t make you passive… It makes you bold.
GRACE IS NOT JUST FOR SALVATION:
Many only think of grace as what saves you, but grace also:
- strengthens you
- sustains you
- empowers you
2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
GRACE IN YOUR WEAKNESS:
When you feel:
- overwhelmed
- discouraged
- tired
That is not the end…That is where grace begins to rise.
GRACE FOR EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE
There is:
- Grace for your past
- Grace for your present
- Grace for your future
GRACE DOES WHAT YOU CANNOT DO
Grace will:
✔ Strengthen you when you’re weak
✔ Help you stand when you want to quit
✔ Empower you to overcome
✔ Carry you through difficult seasons
GRACE AND THE MOUNTAIN
Zechariah 4:7 “Who are you, O great mountain? … you shall become a plain! … ‘Grace, grace to it!’”
Powerful Picture
When Zerubbabel faced opposition, God didn’t say: “Work harder”
He said: “Speak grace”
WHAT YOU DECLARE MATTERS
Sometimes your breakthrough is not in:
- striving
- worrying
But in declaring “Grace, Grace!”
Devotional Challenge
What area of your life needs Great Grace today?
- A battle you’re facing?
- A burden you’re carrying?
- A situation that feels impossible?
KEY TRUTH
You don’t overcome by your strength… You overcome by His grace.
Double Grace Declaration: Today Shout it: “Grace, Grace!”
Prayer
Father, teach me to speak to every mountain in my life. By Your Spirit, it will become flat. Release Your grace over my situation. I will not quit, I will overcome. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
